This Week: Minimum lot size designations for Watts and Haskell streets; Super Neighborhood 31 – Greater Meyerland; Planning Commission public hearing on 2018 Major Thoroughfare and Freeway Plan.
On the Agenda
Council approved minimum lot size designations for the 2200 block of Watts St and the west side of the 6200 block of Haskell St. Going forward, parcels of land within these boundaries may not be subdivided to smaller than the minimum size described in these ordinances. Petitioned for by the Southgate and Crestwood neighborhoods, these protections will limit the ability of developers to build new townhomes on those blocks. Communities interested in applying for similar protections may visit the Planning and Development Department website for more information.
